Classroom Magazine Inside Sales Representative

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned territory of school and district accounts to achieve or exceed sales goals
• Build and maintain strong relationships with educators, principals, and district leaders to understand literacy and learning priorities
• Conduct needs assessments to align Scholastic Magazines+ with current curriculum and standards
• Upsell and cross-sell various titles to generate new business opportunities
• Host online product demonstrations and implementation webinars using virtual platforms
• Stay informed on educational trends, funding opportunities, and district initiatives
• Meet or exceed activity, lead generation, and pipeline goals

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of proven successful sales experience in territory sales, personal selling, or customer service
• Proficiency with MS Office software
• Experience with CRM, Sales Automation, or web-based software programs
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities
• Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills
