Class Teacher

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching and learning to pupils within a year group team
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of all pupils
• Implement the National Curriculum effectively to ensure pupil success
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
• Contribute to the collaborative planning and resource sharing within your year group team
• Support the school's commitment to excellence and high standards of behavior

Requirements

• Unqualified or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• A relevant degree (required for Qualified Teacher status)
• Successful experience in primary teaching
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
• Understanding of effective teaching and learning strategies
• Ability to communicate effectively with the wider school community

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within a collaborative team structure
• Knowledge of SEND requirements and supporting diverse learning needs
