Class Teacher (KS2)

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the day-to-day running of the KS2 class
• Create an attractive and motivating learning environment
• Implement appropriate classroom and behavior management strategies
• Plan, teach, and assess work in accordance with school policies
• Set challenging targets of achievement and differentiate teaching to ensure all children achieve
• Monitor and record children’s progress
• Develop strong relationships with parents through formal and informal reporting
• Manage other adults within the classroom setting
• Participate in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and Performance Management reviews

Requirements

• Experience working within an all-through primary school
• Outstanding behavior management skills
• Resilient, ambitious, and determined to secure positive outcomes for pupils
• Highly motivated with high levels of drive, energy, and integrity
• A commitment to putting children at the heart of all activities
