Class Teacher

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons tailored to the educational needs of pupils
• Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students
• Maintain a dynamic, inspiring, and safe learning environment
• Implement effective classroom behaviour management in accordance with school policy
• Disseminate high-quality teaching pedagogy to ensure consistently good or outstanding learning
• Contribute to the wider life of the academy and engage in ongoing professional development
• Collaborate with colleagues to promote the development of pupils' abilities and aptitudes

Requirements

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
• An undergraduate degree
• Proven experience teaching the primary curriculum
• Strong subject knowledge of the core National Curriculum
• Understanding of child development and how it impacts lesson planning
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a professional team
