Teachstone was founded in 2008 to deliver the Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS) nationwide and around the globe. The CLASS observation tool measures interactions between teachers and children to drive learning and lifelong achievement. Teachstone helps organizations conduct observations and provides professional development to improve educator-student relationships.
Responsibilities
- Provide supplemental project-based CLASS observation services in Infant, Toddler, and Pre-Kindergarten classrooms
- Participate in project orientation regarding client requirements and platform access
- Submit required data entry and post-observation documentation within specified deadlines
- Maintain required CLASS certification and reliability standards
- Conduct live observations and ensure data integrity and consistency
- Maintain professional communication with client site personnel
Requirements
- Ability to travel within an agreed geographic radius in Virginia
- Experience providing observation or assessment-related services in educational settings
- Experience in quantitative or qualitative data collection
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organization
Preferred Qualifications
- Current Pre-K, Toddler, and/or Infant CLASS certification
- B.A. degree in Child Development, Education, or a relevant field
- Prior experience using the CLASS tool for live observations
- Fluency in Spanish, Korean, Turkish, ASL, or Amharic
- Operating through an established business entity (e.g., LLC, S-Corp)
