Class C Truck Driver

By tackling inefficiencies in the food system, our team helps save an average of 500,000 pounds of food per week from waste.

Responsibilities

• Operate a company-provided Class C vehicle to pick up, transport, and deliver goods including customer orders and inter-facility transfers
• Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations while prioritizing safety in driving, loading, and unloading
• Complete necessary paperwork including delivery logs, invoices, inspections, and hours of service logs
• Maintain open communication with dispatch, distribution, and leadership regarding delays or schedule changes
• Operate computer/internal freight monitoring systems
• Load and offload trucks, including stop loading and wave picking orders while on route
• Operate forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and manual pallet jacks

Requirements

• Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record
• Valid DOT required medical card and DOT registration
• At least 3 years of valid state-issued driver's license
• 2 years of previous delivery driving experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively
• Ability to sit, stand, squat, kneel, and bend repetitively
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Comfortable operating vehicles in all weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Experience working in a food-based environment
