Responsibilities

• Drive routes to and from the Rochester hub to receive product from brands
• Support adhoc hauls to other New York locations using medium fleet vehicles
• Maintain fleet vehicles by keeping them clean and flagging maintenance issues
• Perform regular safety inspections of equipment per company SOPs and OSHA standards
• Follow loading protocols using chains and binders to secure cargo
• Inspect trailers, air lines, and jack positions before and after loading
• Visit weigh stations to ensure loads meet state safety regulations
• Assist in unloading cargo when delivery sites are understaffed
• Adhere to traffic safety regulations and report unsafe road conditions
• Use GPS, CB radio, and cab computers for route information and communication

Requirements

• Valid CDL with at least 2 years of occupational driving experience
• Airbrake endorsement
• Must be over the age of 21
• Availability for overnight routes including hotel stays Monday - Thursday
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., bend, stretch, and twist
• Adherence to Clearinghouse regulations (DOT) and random drug screenings
• Strong problem-solving, time management, and communication skills
