Responsibilities

• Run routes between the Rochester hub and NY brand locations
• Conduct pre- and post-trip safety inspections in line with company SOPs and OSHA standards
• Secure cargo using chains and binders and re-verify load stability
• Inspect trailers for air line and jack position status
• Visit weigh stations and adjust loads to meet state safety regulations
• Assist with unloading at delivery sites while maintaining product integrity
• Maintain fleet vehicle cleanliness and flag maintenance needs
• Navigate routes via GPS and communicate with dispatch via CB radio and cab computer

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• 2+ years of occupational driving experience
• Airbrake endorsement
• Up-to-date medical card
• Must be 21+ years of age
• Availability for Monday–Thursday routes including overnight stays in the Bronx
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
