Class A CDL Driver

Responsibilities

• Transport and deliver building materials to retail stores and construction job sites using a tractor-trailer
• Inspect vehicle before, during, and after use to ensure safe operating condition
• Verify load integrity and secure or reposition cargo as needed
• Accurately document product deliveries and maintain driver logs
• Comply with company policies, highway rules, and federal DOT regulations
• Maintain a clean vehicle cab and cargo area
• Provide professional customer service during deliveries
• Manually offload products at destinations

Requirements

• Current CDL Class A vehicle operator's license
• Two years of over the road or equivalent driving experience
• Safe driving record
• Knowledge of federal DOT regulations
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds continually above shoulder height and below the waist
• Excellent manual dexterity and ability to concentrate for sustained periods
• Strong communication skills
