Class A CDL Driver

Responsibilities

• Transport and deliver building materials to customers, distribution centers, and construction job sites using a tractor-trailer
• Perform material handling including loading and unloading via hand, forklift, or overhead crane
• Reconcile material requirements with shipping lists and obtain customer signatures
• Conduct daily pre and post-trip inspections of tractor and trailer
• Operate onboard recording systems and adhere to DOT regulations and traffic laws
• Deliver products at job sites using a piggy-back trailer mounted forklift
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform inventory management activities like cycle counts

Requirements

• Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• 2 years of previous tractor-trailer flatbed driving experience, including winter driving
• Valid Medical Card
• High School diploma or GED
• Ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and physical
• Ability to lift and move heavy products (60+ pounds)
• Must be at least 21 years of age
