Class A CDL Driver

Responsibilities

• Manage routes and assess traffic to ensure on-time arrival at customer job sites
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Load, pad, and secure household and office furniture inside trucks
• Comply with DOT regulations and procedures
• Maintain professional courtesy when working in customers' homes or businesses
• Operate all vehicles safely in compliance with local, state, and federal laws
• Secure signatures on paperwork and record materials used
• Identify mechanical defects on units

Requirements

• Valid, unrestricted Class A driver's license
• Clean driving record
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Knowledge of local roads and routes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in driving, delivery, or transportation of goods
• Exposure to the commercial transportation industry
