Class A CDL Delivery Driver

Responsibilities

• Transport and deliver windows and doors to dealers, distribution centers, and construction job sites using a tractor-trailer
• Safely assist in the loading and unloading of products at customer locations
• Perform frequent lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying of windows and doors
• Maneuver vehicles in heavy traffic, inclement weather, and tight loading dock areas
• Maintain driver logs, fuel purchase records, and mileage records for regulatory compliance
• Comply with all Federal, State, and local regulations for commercial motor vehicle operation

Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
• Doubles endorsement if pulling twin trailers
• Acceptable accident and moving violation Motor Vehicle Record
• 2 years of previous tractor-trailer driving experience, including winter driving
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds continually above shoulder height and below the waist
• Ability to read, write, and perform simple mathematical calculations
• Ability to follow instructions via on-board computer systems and phone
