About the role
Responsibilities
- Safely transport and deliver gas cylinders to customers in the Regina area
- Load and unload cylinders, ensuring quantities and styles match shipping documents
- Check and placard vehicles in accordance with Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations
- Complete shipping orders, trip reports, fuel tickets, and other necessary paperwork
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any defects or maintenance needs
- Follow all operating and safety procedures to ensure a secure working environment
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Class 1 or Class 3 driving experience
- Valid provincial Driver's License with an air brake endorsement
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and manipulate various cylinder sizes and weights
- Trained in Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) and WHMIS
- Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of compressed gas safe handling
