Class 3 Route Delivery Driver

Responsibilities

• Safely transport and deliver gas cylinders to customers
• Load and unload cylinders, ensuring quantities and styles match shipping documents
• Check and placard vehicles in accordance with Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations
• Complete shipping orders, trip reports, fuel tickets, and other necessary paperwork
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any defects or maintenance needs
• Follow all operating and safety procedures to ensure a secure working environment

Requirements

• Minimum of two (2) years of Class 1 or Class 3 driving experience
• Valid provincial Driver's License with an air brake endorsement
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and manipulate various cylinder sizes and weights
• Knowledge of compressed gases and safe handling procedures
• Training in Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) and WHMIS
• Strong mechanical aptitude
