Class 1 Trucker

Responsibilities

• Operate various types of heavy-duty trucks based on operational requirements
• Provide operational support and respond to assist drivers experiencing breakdowns or other issues on the road
• Pick up and deliver ferrous and non-ferrous metals while adhering to all safety standards
• Complete all required transportation and shipping documentation
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance and inspections
• Comply with all company safety policies and applicable regulations
• Move, organize, and clean trailers as required
• Perform other related duties in support of daily operations

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 FM driver’s license with a good driving record
• At least 2 years of experience
• Familiarity with hydraulic systems
• Experience driving heavy vehicles (12-wheel roll-offs, 4-axle dump trucks, 4-axle carcass trailers, etc.)
• Excellent physical condition
• Strong customer service skills
• Reliable, diligent, and punctual
