About the role
Responsibilities
- Ensure correct and thorough completion of paperwork
- Observe and adhere to company rules, procedures, health, safety, and hygiene
- Maintain a high standard of behaviour and appearance
- Manage working time in line with the Road Transport Directive
- Adhere to tachograph rules and regulations
- Complete daily vehicle checks
- Responsible for unit and trailer, including temperature checks
- Make professional deliveries to customers’ premises
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months recent Class 1 driving experience
- Knowledge of Road Transport Directive and current drivers’ hours
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work without direct supervision
- Adaptable and methodical approach
- Conscientious and reliable
