Class 1 DOT Driver

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver bulk liquid products, including cryogenics and refrigerated liquids, between production plants and customer sites
• Complete required equipment inspections to ensure safety and regulatory compliance
• Manage all necessary documentation, including TDG paperwork, trip reports, and fuel tickets
• Use computerized systems and e-logs to maintain delivery and compliance standards
• Conduct site surveys of equipment and identify potential repairs for customer tanks
• Cross United States borders as required, adhering to all DOT requirements
• Perform physical tasks including handling hoses up to 50 lbs and monitoring loading/unloading processes outdoors

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid provincial Class 1 Driver’s License held for a minimum of 36 months
• At least 24 months of relevant driving experience
• Minimum of 3 years of experience driving tanker liquid trailers or b-trains
• Valid Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) and WHMIS training
• Clean Driver’s Abstract with no demerits
• Valid FAST Card
• Compliant with FMCSA Clearinghouse requirements
• Ability to work rotating shifts (4ON/4OFF or 4ON/3OFF) and work away from home for extended periods
