Claims TPA Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Provide daily support, supervision, and guidance to a team of adjusters handling commercial insurance claims
• Ensure the claim team follows best practices to optimize processing quality and timeliness
• Provide upfront directives on daily new claim assignments
• Assist the team with coverage investigations, liability analysis, damage and injury evaluation, reserving, and settlement negotiations
• Monitor individual performance to ensure it meets quality and performance objectives
• Ensure compliance with Insurance Department regulations

Requirements

• High-school degree or equivalent (college degree preferred)
• 2-3 years of commercial claims handling experience, including first-party and third-party claims adjustment
• Knowledge of various state regulations as they apply to claims resolution
• Proficiency in Windows-based environments, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to obtain a NY State Adjuster's license within 9 months of hire
