Claims Team Manager - Subrogation Auto

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, direct, and oversee automotive subrogation claims activities for a team of claims representatives
• Review claim files regularly for quality and monitor statistical measures to evaluate performance
• Coach and counsel employees on performance, technical skills, and customer service best practices
• Manage employee recruitment, development, and succession planning
• Resolve customer service issues and implement ways to monitor and evaluate customer satisfaction
• Lead team meetings to communicate goals and reinforce performance expectations
• Participate in committees and projects that support organizational goals

Requirements

• 4-6 years of Automotive Claims handling experience
• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Valid Driver's License with an acceptable DMV record and minimum liability insurance
• Advanced organizational, planning, and delegation skills
• Advanced oral and written communication skills
• Ability to effectively lead change and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-3 years of supervisory experience
• Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation
