Claims Specialist

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to Turo Hosts and Guests
• Investigate and process auto claims filed by Hosts and Guests
• Assist Turo members in the self-resolution process
• Coordinate claims processing with Turo’s third-party administrator
• Collect any amounts due from Guests
• Maintain accurate and complete claim documentation
• Contribute to continuous improvement of claims handling processes

Requirements

• Must reside in Toronto, Ontario
• Bilingual fluency in French and English
• BA/BS or equivalent experience
• Proficiency with CRM systems, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office
• Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ year of auto claims handling experience, ideally with a major auto insurance carrier or car rental company
• Experience balancing solutions across multiple stakeholders in a two-sided marketplace environment
