Claims Specialist

Responsibilities

• Process insurance claims from initiation to resolution, including verifying information and assessing damages
• Provide empathetic support to customers and guide them through the claims process
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all claims and customer interactions
• Act as the primary liaison between customers and insurance companies/adjusters
• Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements
• Prepare reports on claim trends and outcomes for management review
• Collaborate with legal, customer service, and fleet management departments

Requirements

• High school diploma required
• Minimum of 2 years in a customer service role
• Proficiency in MS Office and database software
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent experience in insurance or customer service
• Prior experience in claims processing or the car rental industry
• Understanding of insurance policies and claims handling procedures
• Familiarity with car rental operations and vehicle maintenance
