Claims & Quality Specialist

Responsibilities

• Review and process customer claims via CRM, including gathering production records, inspection data, and photos
• Perform incoming inspections on raw materials and conduct in-process quality checks on the production floor
• Operate spectrophotometers and OnColor software to measure color and evaluate shade consistency
• Document nonconforming products, apply hold tags, and assist with Layered Process Audits (LPAs)
• Conduct physical testing per ASTM procedures and maintain accurate lab and calibration records
• Enter quality data into Excel, SharePoint, and Microsoft Forms using iPad-based tools

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment (flooring, rubber, or plastics preferred)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Forms, and CRM data entry
• Ability to read and follow written work instructions and quality procedures
• Strong attention to detail and reliability

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with spectrophotometer operation or color management software
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems
• Prior experience as a quality technician or inspector
• Experience with ASTM testing procedures
