Claims Manager

Responsibilities

• Report, oversee, monitor, and investigate insurance claims across all jurisdictions
• Support workers’ compensation and occupational accident claims through loss control surveys and training
• Partner with insurance carriers to mitigate loss using investigators and nurse case managers
• Communicate with internal stakeholders, adjusters, brokers, injured professionals, and attorneys
• Participate in monthly claim reviews to steer claims towards resolution
• Maintain accurate records of all claims and supporting documentation
• Provide regular updates to senior management on claims activity
• Analyze claims data to identify trends and areas for improvement
• Develop and implement scalable processes and training for the claims function

Requirements

• 5+ years in insurance claims adjusting or management
• Experience with workers’ compensation, occupational accident, and injury/property damage claims
• Thorough knowledge of US insurance lines and insurance laws
• Ability to analyze, classify, and rate risks and loss expectancies
• Strong organizational and process-oriented mindset
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
