Claims Manager

Responsibilities

• Complete accurate and timely investigations into coverage, liability, and damages for assigned claims
• Manage claims to produce timely and cost-effective resolutions
• Build and maintain relationships with policyholders, brokers, carrier partners, and Risk Engineers
• Direct and monitor assignments to experts and outside counsel
• Support data collection efforts by accurately capturing claim details in the internal system
• Identify and escalate insights into emerging claims trends
• Provide user-level feedback to improve claim handling processes and systems

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience
• At least 2 years of experience litigating or managing claims in EPLI, MPL, D&O, or E&O
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Must possess or be able to obtain required state claim adjuster licenses within 90 days
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Docs
• Ability to travel approximately 10-15%

Preferred Qualifications

• Law degree (J.D.)
• Professional designations such as RPLU or AIC
• Previous carrier or broker experience
