Claims Executive

Responsibilities

• Advocate for the timely and optimal resolution of claim matters for clients
• Maintain proactive claim strategies and communicate pertinent information to internal and external stakeholders
• Act as a subject matter expert in Executive Risk (D&O, EPLI, Crime, Cyber) and/or Property coverage lines
• Build and expand professional relationships with carriers, TPAs, legal resources, and consultants
• Participate in client presentations, including new business RFPs, claim reviews, and renewals
• Assist the Claim Manager with onboarding, training, and development of claim staff
• Lead and contribute to specialized claim projects as assigned

Requirements

• 10+ years of prior claims experience specifically in Executive Risk and/or Property coverage
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional work experience
• Proficiency with MS Office products (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel)
• Exceptional technical knowledge of coverage and claims handling
• Strong negotiation, communication, and mathematical reasoning skills
• Ability to travel 25-50%

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency with Applied Epic
• Experience using various Carrier and TPA platforms
