Claims Analyst Team Lead

Responsibilities

• Monitor team performance and implement corrective actions to enhance productivity and quality
• Coordinate team schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels
• Manage conflict resolution and promote a positive work environment
• Oversee maintenance and organization of team resources
• Represent the team in cross-functional meetings and provide stakeholder updates
• Liaise with claim handlers to review significant total incurred claims movement
• Perform ad hoc reconciliations and assist in quarterly and annual audits
• Assist in the development and implementation of team goals and objectives
• Facilitate communication between team members and departments
• Prepare monthly and quarterly productivity reports

Requirements

• Working knowledge of claims process
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to work unsupervised and meet tight deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data reconciliation
• Business-related degree or course

Preferred Qualifications

• Insurance industry background
