Claims Analyst Jr

Responsibilities

• Analyze and rule on documentation for insurance claims in accordance with policy conditions
• Issue formal responses to policyholders and/or beneficiaries
• Process payments, document requests, and rejection letters
• Monitor and follow up on escalated cases with various departments
• Maintain and update daily databases for case monitoring
• Interact with internal departments involved in the policy or claims process
• Provide customer service and manage complaint follow-ups

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Administration, Actuarial Science, Law, or a related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, databases, filters, and searches)
• Experience in administrative roles and customer service

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of insurance policies, general/particular conditions, endorsements, and claims
• Previous experience in the insurance industry, specifically in Home insurance
