About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist City agencies with discovery obligations in litigation
- Manage record requests using manual and computerized office systems
- Conduct searches for records maintained by agencies
- Track court due dates and ensure accurate record production
- Coordinate with internal and external agency staff
- Support larger projects and, with experience, help manage staff
Requirements
- Baccalaureate degree, or equivalent education and experience
- Experience investigating and/or settling claims for personal injury or property damage/loss
- Ability to manage a caseload and exercise independent judgment
- Strong attention to legal and factual accuracy
- High school diploma or equivalent required
