Cladder

Responsibilities

• Install aluminium, stainless steel, galvanized iron, and other sheet metal cladding over insulated HVAC ducts, chilled water lines, process piping, valves, flanges, vessels, tanks, and equipment
• Measure, fabricate, cut, bend, roll, and fit cladding sheets according to approved drawings and site requirements
• Install removable cladding boxes for valves, strainers, flanges, and other maintenance-access components
• Fabricate elbows, reducers, tees, end caps, valve boxes, and custom cladding sections using sheet metal
• Secure cladding using rivets, screws, bands, pop rivets, sealants, and approved fastening systems
• Ensure proper overlap, sealing, weatherproofing, and finishing of all cladding installations
• Read and interpret HVAC layouts, piping isometrics, P&IDs, GA drawings, and insulation drawings
• Coordinate with insulation crews to ensure insulation is correctly installed before cladding
• Repair or replace damaged cladding during construction, pre-commissioning, or maintenance activities
• Use sheet metal fabrication tools and equipment safely and efficiently

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Cladder in HVAC or oil & gas projects
• Vocational training, trade certification, or relevant certification
• Proven experience in cladding HVAC ductwork, chilled water piping, process piping, vessels, and mechanical equipment
