CK2 Shift Supervisor - Food Service

Responsibilities

• Assist the CK2 Manager in overseeing the efficiency of a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Maintain high standards of food preparation, service, sanitation, and safety
• Oversee and delegate tasks to a team of 10-15 student workers
• Motivate, counsel, and discipline student employees in coordination with the Manager
• Operate and oversee cashiering and front-end services
• Assist with inventory management, ordering, and reporting shortages
• Ensure all equipment is in working order and perform necessary cleaning tasks, such as refilling fryers
• Manage daily prepping for Grab n Go stations and stock incoming orders
• Fill in for absent students or other shift supervisors as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in food service
• Proven supervision and management experience
• Must be a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in good and regular standing
• Expressed commitment to Jesus Christ and the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
• Ability to work weekend shifts
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, bending, and reaching

Preferred Qualifications

• College or trade school education
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with students and faculty
• Proficiency with computer skills and food service operations
