Civils Plant Operator

Responsibilities

• Undertake plant operator duties, checks, and basic routine maintenance
• Assist in groundworks, environmental mitigation, duct and culvert installation, and fencing
• Install site infrastructure including signage, guarding, bog mats, and trackway
• Operate plant and equipment safely and maintain daily usage and safety logs
• Work to levels supplied by Site Engineers for cut and fill or access road activities
• Use Cat and Genny for underground service detection
• Install pumps and monitor water pumping operations
• Install temporary works such as trench sheets as per design parameters
• Participate in toolbox talks and report defects or hazards

• CPCS Roller A09 / Dumper A31
• ECITB CCNSG Safety Passport
• Emergency First Aid at Work
• Face Test - Alpha Solway
• Fire Awareness
• LOLER Awareness

Preferred Qualifications

• Excavator Validation Certificate
• Streetworks Validation Certificate
