Civil Works Inspector

Responsibilities

• Supervise all civil engineering project activities to ensure successful execution
• Coordinate project teams, stakeholders, and external partners
• Manage project schedules, deadlines, and milestones
• Monitor budget allocation, expenses, and resource utilization
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, codes, and safety standards
• Prepare and organize comprehensive project documentation and records
• Facilitate communication between departments and project teams
• Perform on-site inspections and quality assessments
• Manage relationships with suppliers and contractors
• Identify and resolve project conflicts, issues, and risks
• Prepare detailed progress reports for management

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in civil engineering project coordination or management
• Proven experience managing project budgets, schedules, and resources
• Solid knowledge of construction codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Proficiency in project management software and tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and external stakeholders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel), CAD, and MS Project

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP or CAPM certification
• Experience with Construction Management Information Systems (CMIS)
• Knowledge of licensing processes and regulatory compliance
• Proven track record in quality assurance and on-site inspections
• Experience in supplier and contractor performance evaluation
