Civil Works Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Execute construction and remodeling projects on campus according to executive projects, schedules, and authorized budgets.
• Ensure compliance with institutional policies, labor safety regulations, and applicable construction standards.
• Coordinate with operational areas to minimize impact on campus life and user experience.
• Manage project administration, including reviewing work estimates, invoices, IMSS documentation, and contracts.
• Oversee project quality, safety signage (NOM STPS), and the physical delivery of works to operational areas.
• Act as Project Manager, conducting weekly progress and financial reports for management.
• Manage vendor bidding processes and follow up on project warranties and services.

Requirements

• Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering.
• Proven experience in construction supervision, engineering, and finishes within educational, corporate, or laboratory environments.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Sketchup.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Proficiency in unit price software such as Neodata or Opus.
• Strong communication skills and adaptability to change.
• Availability to supervise works during extended hours or weekends as required.
