About the role
Responsibilities
- Execute construction and remodeling projects on campus according to executive projects, schedules, and authorized budgets.
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies, labor safety regulations, and applicable construction standards.
- Coordinate with operational areas to minimize impact on campus life and user experience.
- Manage project administration, including reviewing work estimates, invoices, IMSS documentation, and contracts.
- Oversee project quality, safety signage (NOM STPS), and the physical delivery of works to operational areas.
- Act as Project Manager, conducting weekly progress and financial reports for management.
- Manage vendor bidding processes and follow up on project warranties and services.
Requirements
- Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering.
- Proven experience in construction supervision, engineering, and finishes within educational, corporate, or laboratory environments.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Sketchup.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Proficiency in unit price software such as Neodata or Opus.
- Strong communication skills and adaptability to change.
- Availability to supervise works during extended hours or weekends as required.
