Civil Technician

Responsibilities

• Assist the Civil Foreman in pouring foundations, installing fencing, and installing grounding
• Perform tasks including cadwelding, terminations, fastening, and proper bolting
• Maintain a safe work environment through the daily use and completion of JSA forms
• Support overall site construction and installation per customer specifications
• Maintain company vehicles and equipment
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions and travel extensively (50-90%)

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED; related trade school education preferred
• 1 to 3 years of experience working on a tower construction crew
• Ability to read and understand drawings, piping diagrams, and job specifications
• Ability to operate heavy equipment including backhoes and forklifts
• Successful completion of industrial first aid and rescue training
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and perform manual labor such as stooping, crawling, and bending

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous electrical experience
