Civil Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform physical labor and operate heavy equipment, including tampers, compressors, generators, saws, and pumps
• Assist in loading and unloading equipment onto trailers
• Inspect, maintain, and clean equipment according to operator manuals and preventive maintenance requirements
• Establish and maintain a strong safety culture and clear communication with team members
• Work in various weather conditions and perform tasks requiring lifting up to 50lbs or more

Requirements

• Prior experience with concrete is required
• General construction knowledge and familiarity with construction machinery
• Mechanically inclined with knowledge of hand and power tools
• Basic rigging skills
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to obtain DOT physical certification
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification
• First Aid/CPR certification
• Willingness to travel extensively (up to 70%) and work non-structured schedules, including weekends and long hours

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Tower Construction, Antenna and Line Installations, Microwave Installations, or Tower Modifications
• CDL Class A certification
• Electrical or electronics education
