Civil Technical Office Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the Egypt Overseas Technical Office operations, managing all technical and drafting teams.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for UAE project teams to coordinate technical instructions and deliverables.
• Monitor project-specific schedules and priorities to ensure timely and accurate drawing production.
• Supervise complex technical issues across Structural & Bridge and Utilities & Roads teams.
• Approve major drawing outputs and ensure compliance with UAE and international standards.
• Establish team structures, roles, and responsibilities while mentoring mid- and junior-level engineers.
• Implement office-wide drafting standards, workflows, and review procedures to ensure high quality and accuracy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Structural, or Construction Engineering.
• 12–18 years of professional experience in large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Proven track record of managing engineering or technical drafting teams, preferably in the Middle East.
• Deep understanding of structural engineering, bridges, underground works, and utilities design.
• Familiarity with international and UAE codes including Eurocode, BS, AASHTO, DM, RTA, and DEWA.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation.
• Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and proactive problem-solving abilities.
