Civil Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Oversee civil construction activities to ensure compliance with CPM schedules and project specifications
• Monitor and report on construction productivity, progress, and costs to management
• Develop and monitor 3-week look-ahead schedules and implement corrective plans to meet targets
• Conduct foreman meetings to assist in daily, weekly, and monthly planning
• Supervise general foremen, foremen, and minor subcontractor supervision
• Ensure adherence to all safety, quality, and performance standards on-site
• Manage material, manpower, and resource availability for assigned work scopes
• Maintain daily site logs and review craft timesheets and progress reports

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a Superintendent or Construction Manager on equivalent projects
• Extensive experience in civil construction, specifically with dirt and concrete
• Proven experience in Combine Cycle or Simple Cycle construction
• Valid Driver's License
• OSHA 10 certification
• Ability to perform physical labor in varying outdoor temperature extremes and environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Engineering or Construction Management degree
• Experience with Self-Perform/Direct Hire construction models
• Strong conflict management and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of construction safety awareness and risk assessment
