Civil/Structure Field Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction and interpretation of design drawings and specification requirements to subcontractors
• Monitor subcontractor compliance with technical requirements and CPM schedules
• Review and respond to Contractor Information Requests (CIRs) within the assigned discipline
• Complete quantity take-offs to support construction planning and invoice approval
• Maintain daily site logs and direct site document control activities for design documents
• Assist Field Quality Assurance Managers in performing inspections and verifying tests
• Prepare and issue discipline extra work authorization requests with appropriate approvals
• Adhere to all safety and quality standards throughout the construction process

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (ABET accredited or equivalent recognized by local authorities)
• 1-2 years of engineering design experience
• 0-1 year of construction management experience in similar facility construction
• Ability to perform material take-offs and field estimates
• Knowledge of cost control and scheduling processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on renewable energy projects (Wind & Solar)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Working knowledge of engineering drawings and technical documentation
