Civil & Steel Structure Engineer

Responsibilities

• Complete structural design and related tasks for civil and steel structures
• Coordinate with upstream and downstream disciplines to finalize steel structure designs
• Provide technical clarification to address client queries
• Review civil and structural calculations and drawings submitted by subcontractors
• Provide technical support for fabrication and on-site construction teams
• Perform job scope with full autonomy

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in civil or structural engineering or related fields
• 5+ years of experience in civil and structure design
• Experience in project design for the overseas petrochemical industry
• Familiarity with Chinese code (GB), Eurocodes, and US codes for civil and structural design
• Proficiency in STAAD.Pro (overall structural calculation), IDEA StatiCa (connection/joint design), and MathCAD (calculation sheets)
• Proficiency in Tekla and AVEVA E3D for structural modeling, including model conversion and drawing extraction
• Good English communication skills
• Strong teamwork spirit

Preferred Qualifications

• Registered Engineer status
• Experience in modular steel structure design
