About the role
Responsibilities
- Produce plans, specifications, and required deliverables on assigned projects on time and within budget
- Follow supervisor’s lead on procedures, calculations, regulatory requirements, and engineering practice
- Support site design, roadway design, utilities, stormwater management, permitting, and construction observation
- Assist in planning, preliminary design, and development of construction drawings
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 1-4 years of experience in the civil engineering field
- Familiarity with CADD tools such as MicroStation and/or AutoCAD
- Open roadway design experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications
- Florida Engineer in Training (EIT) License
