About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the preparation of engineering drawings and plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Assist with planning and analysis efforts using GIS and other design tools
- Contribute to the production of civil design plans including site layouts, grading, utilities, and roadway designs
- Assist in preparing permit applications and supporting documentation for regulatory approvals
- Participate in field visits and construction site observations
- Support modeling efforts for water, sewer, and stormwater systems
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to support project delivery
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in civil engineering design
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Basic understanding of grading, drainage, and utility design principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Preferred Qualifications
- Engineer Intern (E.I.) certification
- Familiarity with GIS software such as ArcGIS/ArcPro
