Civil Inspector

Responsibilities

• Perform continuous surveillance of assigned inspection activities to ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, drawings, and specifications
• Oversee construction and maintenance of roads, including curb and gutter, streets, sidewalks, and landscaping
• Monitor drainage work, utilities, traffic control, and lighting installations
• Supervise the installation of electrical equipment for traffic signals, ramp metering, and street lighting
• Manage irrigation, planting, and the removal or installation of roadway and overhead signs
• Oversee building and facility construction and associated site development
• Capture and file daily project photographs for documentation

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in construction supervision of infrastructure projects, specifically road works and utilities
• Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction specifications, and civil inspection processes
• Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to work independently
