Civil Inspector

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with approved plans, standards, and specifications
• Maintain detailed records by documenting inspection results and preparing comprehensive reports
• Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to address and resolve issues or discrepancies
• Enforce adherence to safety regulations and quality control standards on site
• Perform regular site visits and inspections to track construction progress and ensure workmanship quality
• Support the development and implementation of standardized inspection procedures and protocols
• Organize and manage inspection records, ensuring documentation is complete, accurate, and current

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 7 years of experience in construction supervision of Roads and infrastructure projects
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction specifications
• Thorough familiarity with construction processes related to the area of assignment
• Good oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate logically and clearly

Preferred Qualifications

• Related work experience in Abu Dhabi, UAE, or the GCC region
• Experience working within an engineering consulting firm
