Civil Inspector

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of civil works including excavation, shoring, foundations, wet wells, dry wells, and concrete structures
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and authority standards
• Review and respond to Inspection Requests (IRs) submitted by contractors
• Monitor construction activities for quality, safety, and compliance
• Verify materials, reinforcement, concrete works, and workmanship
• Maintain inspection records, daily reports, and non-conformance reports
• Identify site defects and ensure corrective actions are implemented
• Review method statements, shop drawings, and material submittals
• Attend site meetings and provide updates on progress and issues
• Coordinate with mechanical and electrical teams for interface works

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in pumping station or underground infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete works and underground structures
• Familiarity with UAE construction standards and authority requirements
• Experience in inspection and QA/QC documentation
• Strong attention to detail and reporting skills
