Civil Inspector (Infrastructure)

Responsibilities

• Perform continuous surveillance of infrastructure construction activities to ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and specifications
• Ensure all construction works are performed in strict accordance with plans and drawings
• Maintain a detailed daily diary of work activities, including issues, approvals, rejections, labor, and equipment used
• Coordinate with contractor site engineers to advise on proper work execution and interface with stakeholders to mitigate construction impacts
• Coordinate with other discipline inspectors for sampling, testing, and quality assurance of materials and completed work
• Process Inspection Requests and maintain accurate records of their status
• Actively participate in all site health and safety issues as required
• Report any failures in workmanship or questionable methods of operation to the Resident Engineer

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil or Construction Engineering
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in road/infrastructure construction supervision and general Wet/Dry utilities projects
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, method statements, and construction specifications
• Proficient in computer technology and project-specific engineering or construction software
• Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with project teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ADM / DMT projects
