Civil Inspector

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of civil works including foundations, structural elements, roadworks, and other infrastructure components
• Verify that construction work complies with design drawings, specifications, and relevant codes
• Identify and report any non-conformances, defects, or safety hazards
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and site supervisors to resolve technical issues
• Prepare and maintain detailed inspection reports and documentation
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards on site
• Support quality control processes and assist in testing activities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 7 years experience in civil construction inspection or quality control
• Strong understanding of civil construction methods, materials, and standards
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Good communication and reporting skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects
• Knowledge of local regulations and safety standards in Saudi Arabia
