Civil Engineering Works Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Participate in the supervision of site preparation, installation, and connections for new Hydro-Québec camps
• Supervise civil, mechanical, building/architecture, and substation works
• Implement supervision programs to ensure contractor quality plan compliance and work conformity
• Manage and track quality, environmental, health, and safety documentation
• Draft non-conformance reports (NC) and follow up on corrective actions
• Prepare progress reports including labor, material, supply, and technical defect tracking
• Monitor technical documents using IT tools

Requirements

• DEC in civil, mechanical, or building engineering or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience
• Industrial experience (thermal power plant)
• Experience in construction supervision and health and safety
• Valid driver's license (Class 5) and access to a vehicle
• Valid ASP construction card
• Training in working at heights
• Proficiency in French (spoken and written)
• Strong computer skills

Preferred Qualifications

• CDST-Boréal training is an asset
