Civil Engineering Staff Professional

Responsibilities

• Write and assist in completing complex reports for geotechnical, construction materials testing (CMT), and environmental departments
• Perform laboratory and field testing on construction materials such as soils and concrete in compliance with quality system requirements
• Assist with proposals, technical calculations, and submittals to ensure project quality
• Support marketing and client interaction, including communicating scope changes and obtaining necessary paperwork
• Report, enter, and update project data and information to aid in timely completion
• Manage timelines, budgets, reports, contracts, and other project-specific items

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science or higher in civil, geotechnical, or environmental engineering
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification with successful completion of the FE Exam
• Ownership of a van, truck, SUV, or similar vehicle for work use (monthly reimbursement provided)
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Nitro
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to follow directions
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and maintain confidential information
