Civil Engineering Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Execute projects and work packages ensuring safety, quality, time, functionality, and cost requirements are met
• Manage procurement and oversee consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers from design through delivery
• Identify, monitor, and mitigate risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle
• Act as Contract Administrator for NEC3/4, FIDIC, or bespoke contracts
• Define, draft, and manage subcontract documentation in coordination with stakeholders
• Chair technical and progress meetings with subcontractors and internal teams
• Liaise with civil design managers to ensure documentation aligns with project timelines
• Monitor project scope, record changes, and implement mitigation measures
• Support implementation of innovative construction technologies and materials

Requirements

• Experience in Civil Engineering, Construction, or Infrastructure sectors
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies
• Excellent communication skills for technical and commercial issues
• Proactive attitude towards work in office and on-site environments
• Knowledge of Health and Safety, Environmental, and Planning regulations
• Proficiency in MS Office 365
• Qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent
• Ideally chartered with ICE, CIOB, RICS, CICES, or working towards chartership
