Civil Engineering Practice Leader

Responsibilities

• Lead business development efforts and promote repeat and referral business
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, government agencies, and subconsultants
• Manage client projects from start to finish, ensuring high-quality service
• Oversee project delivery for municipal infrastructure, water, wastewater, and transportation projects
• Develop, review, and approve fee proposals and scopes of work
• Manage group backlog and identify staffing needs
• Recruit, hire, mentor, and coach engineering staff
• Prepare and present projects to local authorities, planning boards, and city councils

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in civil engineering consulting or project management
• Proven experience managing civil engineering projects and client relationships in Idaho
• Experience managing, supervising, and developing engineering teams
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Idaho
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Strong project management and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Idaho municipal infrastructure, public works, or site development projects
• Experience presenting to local agencies, boards, or review committees
